why you should care about trends
Let's say you're targeting young adult women. Would it be more effective to giveaway a boxy cotton t with a one-colour imprint of your brand's logo? Or to give them a lightweight, fitted burnout t-shirt with a tattoo-inspired design a la Ed Hardy? The latter, of course!
Bottom Line: You have to apply trends to promotions to evoke responses: hot fashion, societal direction or the economic movement.
